About the event
TLC is developing a High-Risk Erosion Action Plan for erosion-prone hill country across four priority sub-catchments: Mangamahaki, Mangarara, Makara and Hāwea. By June 2026, we will move from planning to demonstration, establishing showcase sites.
This meeting follows an earlier discussion in October and is part of an ongoing, farmer-led process. We want the plan to be practical, workable, and grounded in local knowledge, so your input will be key as the project progresses.
You can find out more about the project and read the High Risk Erosion Action Plan Demonstration Options at www.tukitukilandcare.org/land-for-life.
If you’re unable to attend but would like to have a site considered for a planting trial, please get in touch with Pixie at tukicoordinator@gmail.com.
