Omakere Planting Day

We have the planting plan and the plants have been purchased! Come along, get your hands dirty, and be part of this brilliant community effort.

Please bring gardening gloves, sturdy footwear, water bottle, spade.

Children are welcome, but caregivers must supervise them, as the site has steep slopes and is near a stream.

A BBQ lunch will be provided.

This trial project is funded by TLC and looks to provide a showcase for riparian management as the Mangamahaki is cleared of willows over coming years.
